The Committee on Jails and Prisons moved to amend the bill on page 1, section 19, line 7, by striking the words “three persons from the region who are representative of the areas of law, medicine, and education” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “a member of the public defender’s office, a member representing mental health, behavioral health, or substance use disorders, and a member representing probation officer, parole officer, or day report officer or staff”
